HENS PARADISE, is a registered business known as HENS PARADISE (PTY) LTD2021/365343/07 and also a member of SAPA (South African Poultry Association).

By placing your order, you confirm that you did read and understood the Hens Paradise terms and conditions. DAY OLD CHICKS: (Lohmann Brown and Hy-line Brown / Silver).

 

HENS PARADISE guarantee that day old chicks are, A-Grade (healthy and strong), Vaccinated on day one, (as requested by law / regulations), sexed (only laying hens chicks / pullets). The boxes contain 101 day old chicks per box, and customer only pay for 100 CHICKS. IRBT (Beak trimming) will be done on request of client and cost will be for clients account (will be added to invoice). We DON’T sell mixed boxes of chicks, which consist of hens and roosters.

 

Hens Paradise prioritize the safety and wellbeing of the day old chicks during transportation and will take

all necessary precaution / pro-active steps to have them delivered to our client without any known discomfort or any mortalities. No speeding, harsh braking or reckless driving during transportation will be tolerated / allowed, to prevent injuries and unnecessary stress to day old chicks. We will use national roads for road deliveries, where possible and we will not use or drive on any gravel roads or poor tar road or roads with excessive potholes. HENS PARADISE, cannot be held responsible for any mortality of day old chicks, after they have been inspected by client upon delivery / collection, and the ownership is transferred to client. HENS PARADISE will not be held responsible for any day old chick’s injuries or stress related mortalities during transportation due to any poor road conditions of South Africa. However should there be more than 5% mortality per box upon delivery, (detected during the off load inspection), HENS PARADISE (PTY) LTD will replace the total mortality of chicks, above the 5%, either on the next order or make an electronic bank to bank refund (for mortality over 5%) no later than 14 working days. No e-wallet refund will be made to provide financial audit trail. 

 

When ordering day old chicks or fertile hatching eggs, customers will be presented with an official Hens Paradise invoice, the document is valid for 7 days from the date imprinted on the invoice document. Within the 7 day period, the customer will be required to make full EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) payment into the Hens Paradise Business banking account. The clients name, surname and invoice number to be used (as reference number) with payment. Cash payment clients to add 10% to invoice amount to cover banking cost for cash payments made into bank account. Proof of payment to be forwarded by client to Hens Paradise, either by e-mail hensparadise@gmail.com or via WhatsApp 079 388 5865. Once the full payment reflect in account, will the customer’s order / purchase will be a secured deal.

 

As we will hatch on demand, once full payment is received and reflect into our account, the fertile eggs will be scheduled for setting. A Waiting period of 3 to 4 weeks waiting period prior delivery / collection will apply (it takes 21 days to hatch fertile eggs). Should no performance made by client within the 7 days, the quote / invoice will be cancelled and the customer will require to re-order as per HENS PARADISE hatching calendar.

 

ROAD DELIVERIES: HENS PARADISE does not offer free delivery and quantity orders per route will apply. The delivery cost is for clients account. The client will be responsible to ensure that he / she provide us with the necessary contact details (alternative contact details where necessary) and client to be readily available to promote communication and to ensure smooth delivery of day old chicks without any delay. Hens Paradise will communicate the delivery date, estimate time and delivery point to client. Hens Paradise personnel will not be held responsible for any client who is not at the delivery point at the delivery times given to client. Hens Paradise will try their utmost best to get hold of the client for the delivery. Non-pitch / show up for the delivery / collection at the delivery address, on the date and time communicated for delivery will result in cancellation of order and client to forfeit monies paid to Hens Paradise, with no claim against Hens Paradise. As we have other livestock in transit and other customers waiting for their orders, Hens Paradise will not be able to spend unlimited time to locate or wait for customer who did not pitch / show up, maximum waiting period 5 minutes.

 

AIRFREIGHT CARGO DELIVERIES: HENS PARADISE will do the Airfreight cargo reservations and provide customers with a waybill tracking number. The box / boxes will be booked in at OR Tambo airport on the designated delivery date, at least 2.5 hours prior airfreight cargo departure to designated airport for collection by client. The client will be informed once the day old chicks is booked in at OR Tambo Cargo section.

 

Client will need proof of Identification and the waybill number to collect day old chicks from the designated airport on the delivery date. Once the delivery is handed over by HENS PARADISE to airfreight cargo personnel at OR Tambo, the responsibility is also transferred to the client. Hens Paradise will not be held responsible for any injuries and or mortalities of day old chicks, with no claims against Hens Paradise. Client to open the box / boxes day old chicks at the designated airport cargo section (in front of the cargo personnel) and send pictures to Hens Paradise WhatsApp number 079 388 5865. Should the client detect any injured day old chicks or mortalities, it should be reported to both Cargo personnel and Hens Paradise, with pictures as proof (from the airport cargo office).

 

It will be the responsibility of the customer to track the shipment and be in contact with the airline directly. No claim/s can or shall be made against Hens paradise for any injuries or mortality of chicks, or any delays caused by airline Cargo Company. HENS PARADISE does not offer free delivery and Airfreight and delivery to airport cost for client account.

 

FERTILE EGGS: Hens Paradise could not guarantee or issue warranty that ALL the fertile hatching eggs purchased can be fertile, however we strive to supply eggs with 80%+ fertility. The SAPA registered poultry farm, monitor Egg storage Procedures and the breeding stock management program to ensure best possible fertility %. Although sexing of fertile eggs is not possible, clients understood that they will hatch both hens and roosters from Fertile Hatching eggs.

 

HENS PARADISE cannot be held for responsible for poor hatch rates of eggs purchased from us, as many factors outside HENS PARADISE control, such as incubator efficiency, operator knowledge, egg storage, transportation methods, etc. which have effect on hatch rate.

 

HENS PARADISE make use of a 3rd party (The Courier Guy) to collect and deliver the fertile hatching eggs, and Hens Paradise cannot be held responsible for damaged eggs in transit to final destination. Client to report any breakage / damaged eggs, immediately to HENS PARADISE and the 3 rd party driver, prior his departure. Customer will require to provide proof using photographs of the driver, time, and vehicle registration number and also write the remarks on the drivers log sheet / delivery note.

 

CANCELLATION OF ORDERS: HENS PARADISE does not offer any refunds on cancellation of orders by client once payment has been made. If Hens Paradise could not deliver due to force majeureor circumstances outside our control such as miss hatch / HPAI pandemic, on the agreed date, a new delivery date will be scheduled for delivery. As we work with a biological process, the process could not be reversed once the eggs are set for incubation. Cancellation of orders by client could be in any form, such as telephonically conversation, WhatsApp message, email or SMS message, not arrive at set delivery time at delivery point. The client cancel order automatically forfeit monies paid to Hens Paradise, without any claims against or refund from Hens Paradise. It will be responsibility of the client to find / source a buyer for their order and will be delivered to agreed delivery point, and it will not be Hens Paradise responsibility. As we deal with livestock, the availability for delivery / collection could be delayed / postponed and should HENS PARADISE cancel any dates for collection / delivery for any reason, the customer shall have no claim against HENS PARADISE, having no choice but to comply with HENS PARADISE next collection or delivery date. Should the delivery vehicle be involved in an accident or breakdown, or changes in hatching operational requirements or driver illness, and the order not get delivered on the specific date, no claim shall be made against HENS PARADISE , however HENS PARADISE , will set a new date for delivery.

 

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

 

HENS PARADISE does not offer any form of refunds. Once the customer made partial or full payment on order placed, the transaction is legally biinding and no refund will be made on cancellation of any nature – client to forfeit monies paid to Hens Paradise. It is important that before payment is made, that HENS PARADISE confirms availability of any listed products within HENS PARADISE price list
